Skid Row Art Exhibit

A fun event is happening this week on Skid Row: an art exhibit by Skid Row artists from the art classes run by Art for Animals Sake, a nonprofit with the broader goal of spreading compassion through art skills, and since 2014 has been teaching art to people transitioning from homelessness as a way to develop coping skills. Come and check out the artwork 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday the 19th, at the Skid Row Housing Trust, 510 S. Main Street. In addition to the wonderful art, which will be on sale at very reasonable prices, there will be vegan snacks provided by Quick Vegan Travel Guides, which are published by the same house as my books.
